The Handmade and Creative Market is a bi-monthly designer maker shopping event which usually takes place in the Halls, Norwich. The event was established 18 months ago to give the opportunity for a diverse range of local, handmade businesses to showcase their work in a face to face setting. The intention was to create a small event, largely supporting skilled craftspeople who were not as established on social media as some of their peers. The event has continued to grow and now attracts around 80 different exhibitors each time.

In November and December of 2019 a group of talented exhibitors from Norwich Creative Market will be offering a range of art and craft workshops. Activities are run on a pre-booked basis and you can find more information on our workshops page.

In 2020 I intend to take the Handmade and Creative Market out of Norwich and into a range of Norfolk towns. There are plans to increase the amount of workshops we offer, both at shopping events and as stand alone events in smaller venues. I also plan to work on my own projects more in the coming year, something that had to take a back seat in 2019 due to juggling an increased event planning workload with my teaching career.
